Learning Disabilities Canada Do I Really Have A Learning Disability?

Do I really have a learning disability? - learning disabilities canada

"In the United States and Canada under learning, learning difficulties and learning disabilities (LD) refers to a group of disorders that write to say a wide range of academic and functional skills including the ability to influence, listen, read, spell, reason and organize information. "

I speak better than most, I hear, I can read 1000 words per minute with 100% comprehension, my writing is above average (A-level) from Penn State. Spelling is, if not better than average. The reason for this is the height of genius, that's for sure. Organizing Information: I am not positive what that means certain.

With regard to public schools, a learning disability is by taking an IQ test and diagnose performance tests. If your performance is much lower than the IQ for some reason, thought to have a learning disability. The only thing that is not your age, your level of reading and mathematical skills.

Definitnely you can have an intellectual disability and all those wonderful qualities that you describe, and they have a problem with the calculation of math or reading comprehension only. If you are in school and have good location, and probably should not make too much under the label HTE worry. It might even be able to find a good community!

The intelligence tests are not accurate for people of color, people from other cultures than we, or people with disabilities or speech disorders.

Some tests, such as the WISC IV with 12 subtests, the performance and verbal IQ, and sometimes when we see a very low score used on the one hand, the other side than the real IQ. Usually, the lower part of the verbal, but not always. When we see a high and low profile in this test may indicate a learning disability.

If you are a person of color or someone of another culture, you need to examine the instrument to free culture, such as the Universal Declaration of inspection of non-verbal intelligence. This also applies if you have a learning disability or language. Further evidence of this type is the C-Toni.

Much also depends on the age, where you have been tested. Very young children are often unable to manage the test environment.

You can have an intellectual disability, but I would not be too worried about her, because she has a learning disability is not a stupid man, and I can say it is not at all stupid. Albert Einstein, the greatest mind of the 20th Century, had a learning disability, and some suggest that even if a mild form of autism.
