Towing Horses Towing Horse Trailer With '95 Jeep Cherokee?

Towing horse trailer with '95 Jeep Cherokee? - towing horses

I try an O (new) car and two horses, I would like to have something for them (total weight approx. £ 2000) in a small two-horse trailer or a trailer drawn with small values. I know that the Cherokee has a towing capacity of 5,000 pounds, but has been used a horse trailer? I am pleased concerned about the stability and security of the trailer. Thanks in advance!

The Cherokee is too small for the horse trailer.

Can it? Yes, but brakes and gears will not last.

Where? No, they are too small to control the trailer in an emergency.

Yes, you pull the weight, but I suggest that the coupling is (also) a better bound for the single is surprisingly low. There are some bands screw into a canal in the back rail of the frame. The track record is thick. You may need to check the weight, but I think it would be dangerous for their horses. If trailer hitch losing streaks through the plate number of the caravan and had their horses, which certainly injure and may be killed. I do not happen to know of this possibility.

2-horse trailer with 2 Horse is a heavy burden on a Cherokee in my opinion. You need not feel too much emphasis on the language but only the weight of the trailer + horse can push the jeep so much as a trailer. You better buy at least a half-ton pickup truck, the Jeep is a little narrow and short, causing stability problems.

Keep your speed down, installing a brake controller (the horse trailers will be equipped with electric brakes on the axle)

I would not recommend this, I have a couple of jeeps and horses, Chevrolet, we also have a diesel. You do not need a big truck, but it is something that the supporters to stop with a Jeep and is not equipped for these kinds of trailers. For you and your horse trailer has a problem with the jeep.
